Join the Committee

Each year, Bayside Basketball holds its Annual General Meeting (AGM) to present our annual report, celebrate achievements, and discuss opportunities for the future. The AGM is also when members can help shape the direction of the club through the election of office bearers.

The Bayside Basketball Management Committee is made up entirely of volunteers—primarily parents—who play a crucial role in the club’s operations. A fully staffed committee is essential to ensure the club runs smoothly and continues to thrive.

Why Join the Committee?

  • Have a voice in how Bayside Basketball is run.
  • Bring fresh ideas and energy to help the club grow.
  • Positively impact the lives of hundreds of young athletes.
  • Support our dedicated volunteer coaches and team managers.
  • Gain valuable skills and be part of a fun, engaged team.
  • Enjoy discounted fees depending on your role.

What Skills Are Needed?

Our committee is strongest when made up of diverse people with different backgrounds and skills. The one thing all volunteers share is a passion to make Bayside Basketball the best it can be for players, families, referees, and officials—now and into the future.

No specific experience is required—just enthusiasm and a willingness to help out. Our current committee strives to respond promptly to players, coaches, and managers, and we kindly ask for understanding that our team members are volunteers with their own work and family commitments.

If you have any questions about the committee, AGM, or club operations, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
