Expression of Interest – New Players

Please complete this expression of interest form if you are not currently registered with Bayside Basketball and would like to join a team next season, or be considered for any vacancies that may arise.

Please note this is an expression of interest only and does not guarantee placement in a team.

Team availability depends on player numbers, division capacity, and the availability of our valued volunteer coaches and managers.

What Does It Cost?

Once offered a position in a team, the following fees apply:

1. Season Club Fees

• Under 10s – $285
• Under 12 & Over – $380

2. State & Association Fees

Prior to taking the court, all players must be registered with Basketball Queensland and the RedCity Roar Association. These fees provide insurance coverage and support the development of community basketball across Queensland.

• Basketball Queensland Annual Fee – $92 (paid via Basketball Connect)
• RedCity Association Fee – $40 per season (paid via Basketball Connect)
• Wide World of Sport BQ Facility Fee – $5.50

3. Uniform Requirements

All players are required to wear the official Bayside Basketball game and training uniform in accordance with association rules.

Details of required items and a link to our online uniform store will be provided once a team position has been offered and registration is complete.
