Scoring a game on the tablet
Everything you need to score a game in the BasketballConnect scoring app, in 12 short steps.

1Player Attendance
A
Prior to the game, you must set Player Attendance. Click on the top of the screen – yellow box.

Select the tick box next to each player that is playing. If a player is missing a number, a pop-up box will appear asking to insert correct number. Confirm both teams and hit Done.
NOTE: This only needs to be done once per competition.

2Team Colours
Click on each team’s logo to change their colour using the menu.
Select jersey colour pop-up with colour choices and Save and Reset buttonsEnlarge
Pick the jersey colour, then tap Save.

3Adding Points
Select the point value (in yellow) first, then select the player.

4Adding Fouls
Select the type of foul first (Personal, Technical, etc.), then the player. Can be done with clock running or paused.

5Timeouts
Click the yellow “T/O Left” box and confirm the timeout.

6Team Fouls
Once a team reaches the foul limit, the foul count will appear in red.

7Player Foul Limit
When a player reaches their foul limit, a pop-up will ask to remove them. They will be crossed off the list.

8Editing the Clock
Click the time at the top of the screen to adjust minutes and seconds.

9Confirm Score
At the end of each half/quarter, confirm the scores via the pop-up prompt. If incorrect, choose NO and update.

10Edit In-Game Details
Click the settings cog to adjust team selection, action log, etc.

11Editing Details
Click “Action Log” to modify points, fouls, etc. You can reassign or delete actions.

The Action Log lists every point and foul, and you can filter it by quarter.

Reassign the action to another player, or use the bin at the top right to delete it.

12Confirm Final Scores
At game end
At game end, confirm final score via pop-up. If edits are needed, select NO, correct, and confirm again.
Once complete
Once complete, select YES. Either the scorebench or referees can complete this step.
